For the Second Year I'm a Heisman Voter
If You Were Me, What Would You Do?
Last year, it was cut and dried. As long as Auburn Quarterback Cam Newton wasn't proven to have done something to break the rules, he deserved the Heisman Trophy.
This year in my second year as a voter, it's not nearly as cut and dried. So if you're me, what do you do?
I'm hoping Badgers RB Montee Ball gets invited to New York. But I'm not convinced he can close fast enough to win it, since votes have to be in on Monday.
Stanford Quarterback Andrew Luck hasn't done anything to lose the trophy, and he's the front runner. But has he done enough to win it?
Is a vote for Alabama's Trent Richardson more of a vote for the team rather than the individual?
And even though he won't factor in to the equation, can anyone tell me how Badgers QB Russell Wilson isn't on the Heisman radar even though he didn't throw a crucial pick or make a bad play late in either one of Wisconsin's losses?
Or is there someone else that you feel warrants consideration? Let me know on twitter @lanceallan
