Packers Chester Marcol's Amazing Story
"Alive And Kicking" With Gary D'Amato
I have to admit, it's a winning combination.
Chester Marcol's amazing story of failure, and redemption. Plus Wisconsin Sportswriter of the Year and Journal Sentinel writer Gary D'Amato's incredible ability to write an incredible compelling yet sensitive tale.
It adds up to "Alive and Kicking," the story of the Packers kicker who freely admits that he took cocaine during the Packers-Bears game at Lambeau Field in 1980.
Yes, that game when he had his field goal blocked, and ran it in for a game winning touchdown in one of the most bizarre and memorable plays in Packers history.
Marcol also shares the incredibly emotional story of telling his young son about his drug and alcohol fueled past, and how he made amends.
