"We need to start putting together 4 quarters, which we haven't done at all yet this year." Charles Woodson.
"Soul searching? No doubt. It's been 8 weeks, 8 games, and guys are consistently putting up big yards on us." Tramon Williams.
It's amazing that an 8-0 team is talking like this. With the offense outscoring everyone in their way, maybe the defense's inability to stop opponents cold and put them away isn't that big of a deal.
But the Packers don't want to find out.
"We took too many shots," Woodson added. "To go up and then allow 2 touchdowns in minutes, and nearly allow them to tie the game, it's unacceptable."
When asked about how the offense is scoring nearly at will, Woodson added "you love it when your defense is stinking it up. We can't continue to fold. We consider ourselves a good defense, or we're suppose to be a good defense."
Really honest words from one of the leaders of the D.
Woodson also isn't happy with the pass interference flags, saying "the week before I'm going for an interception and the ref says he can't call it. Why? So to have things not go both ways, it's frustrating."
