Brewers Break From Bad History
The Series Wil Return To Milwaukee
The win in game 4 at St. Louis guaranteed two things.
One, that the NLCS will return to Milwaukee.
And two, that the Brewers won't have to keep hearing about 1982. For the first time since game 1 of the 1982 World Series, the Crew finally won a postseason road game.
To lighten the mood, clubhouse attendant Alex Sanchez wore a Sully from Monsters Inc. costume, and greeted players. Prince FIelder gave Alex a big bear hug coming off the field.
Ryan Braun continues to be impressive, becoming the first in Major League Baseball history to reach base safely in the in first inning of 8 straight games.
But going to the World Series won't be easy. Both teams have won 11 games. Total runs? The Brewers have 90. The Cardinals? 88.
