Brewers Hope Wolf Pack Goes Beast Mode In Game 4
As Snakes Slither Back Into the Series
Walking into the Brewers losing clubhouse after game 3, I got the sense it wasn't just lip service. There's no panic, they still have a 2-1 advantage, and the pressure is still on Arizona.
They just don't want it to go beyond 4 games, and would like to board the plane for Milwaukee without having to play a game on Friday.
Game 4 starter Randy Wolf does have a good track record against the Dbacks, 7-2 with a 3.43 ERA lifetime at Chase Field. But this year, Arizona had his number...0-2 with a 6.08 ERA in 2 starts.
In Game 3, it was clear to see Shaun Marcum didn't have his best stuff early. He's going the wrong way at this point of the postseason, allowing 25 runs over his last 29 innings.
I would say that Corey Hart looks dialed in...his homer and line drive out to third mean he's making good contact which should carry over to Game 4.
And if you're wondering, Diamondbacks hero Paul Goldschmidt started the year at AA...and pitcher Josh Collmenter has allowed 1 run in 21 innings against the Brewers this year. Now you know both guys.
