To say that the Packers can't repeat a Super Bowl championship with one player on injured reserve, after having 16 on IR last year, is sheer folly.
But none of the players the Packers lost last year...not Jermichael Finley, not Ryan Grant, not Brandon Chillar etc...were All-Pro players.
Like Nick Collins.
This loss will be felt, because last year the Packers lost Morgan Burnett, but Nick Collins was alongside Charlie Peprah to guide the last line of defense.
This time, it's the talented but inexperienced Burnett, with the steady if unspectacular Peprah back in the starting lineup.
That's if, the Packers don't consider moving Charles Woodson into more of a slot/safety role, with Tramon Williams getting closer to coming back, and Sam Shields ready to start.
Darren Sharper doesn't seem to be a realistic option, and that's not the way GM Ted Thompson operates anyway...so what do you say fans? Would you be in favor of Woodson moving around?
