The Brewers run continues to be so incredible, consider this:
The 7 game lead over the Cardinals, the biggest division lead in baseball except for the Phillies 7.5 game lead on the Braves in the NL East.
The win over the Dodgers seals the 7th straight series win for the Brewers.
The Brewers have won their last 5 games by 3 or fewer runs. The 6th team to do that since 1900!
At 28-9, the Brewers own the best record in baseball since July 6. And 47-15 at home? That's nearly a ridiculous 76% winning percentage...better than 3 of every 4 games!
The Crew now 22 games over .500 for the first time since going 82-60 on Sept. 6, 2008.
Zack Greinke is now 9-0 at home, the longest home winning streak to start a career in franchise history.
Since July 17, the Brewers have allowed 1 run or fewer in 9 games.
And the relievers have now gone 20 2/3 innings without allowing a run. Incredible.
