The Brewers are 45-15 at home. Just chew on that for a moment. That means they win 3 of very 4 games at Miller Park.
And the Cubs can't catch a break. Just to show how hot the Brewers are, the Cubs have gone 12-3 since July 31...and they've dropped a half game in the NL Central!
At 26-9, the Brewers own the best record in the Major Leagues since July 6.
The Brewers have a major league best 2.40 ERA over 27 games since July 17. And during this stretch, the Crew has allowed 3 runs or fewer in 20 games and 2 runs or fewer in 15 contests.
It's a contest between the starters and relievers to see who's best. Brewers starters at 54-30 this season, only behind the Phillies. While the bullpen has gone 17 2/3 innings without giving up a run.
And if you're already thinking postseason, this bodes well. The Brewers 26-15 in 1-run games this season.
