Lance Allan: Sports Glance with Lance
Casey, We Found Your Clayton
7-Year-Old Good Luck Charm's Name Found
Casey McGehee tells a great story.
With reporters gathered around him in the Brewers Clubhouse, the Brewers third baseman told us about a 7-year-old boy who was so quiet, he asked him he had any questions for him. Jokingly, his Dad said to hit a home run for him.
Casey hit 3, then joked that he wanted to take the kid on the road to Houston and St. Louis for good luck.
Just one problem...Casey pleaded with us to find out who the kid is, because he didn't know his last name. He just knew him as Clayton.
Well, after running the soundbite on my sportscast, a big thanks to some viewers who e-mailed me that his name is Clayton Wollner, whose proud parents are Ben and Jean of Sussex.
So there's your answer Casey. Now buy him those tickets to H Town!
