Bucks Brandon Jennings Take on the Lockout

He's Saved His Money

  • Print

Brandon Jennings wants everyone to know, he's saved his money.

I caught up with the Bucks point guard at Summerfest just hours before the NBA lockout became official, and just minutes before Union head Billy Hunter declared it done deal dot com that there would be a work stoppage.

When I asked Brandon if he would go back to L.A. to work out, or if he had a place in Milwaukee to go...he actually picked a third choice.  "I'm going to stay out of L.A. a lot," Jennings stated.  "You know, I'm gonna just be in Baltimore i feel.  I think Baltimore is the spot for me.  That's where the Under Armour office is.  And I'll be able to work out and just focus."

Of course Brandon has always been smart with his money...so when I asked if he wouldn't be hurting, so to speak...his response?  "No, no.  Not at all.  I mean, my first car was a Ford Edge.  I think that says a lot."

It certainly does.  Jennings also had to show off his new pipes, since Scott Skiles proclaimed that his point guard is working out as hard as anyone he's ever seen in the offseason.

For more on the Bucks offseason moves, Stephen Jackson, and the progress of Jennings and Andrew Bogut, here's my discussion with Journal Sentinel Bucks beat writer Charles Gardner.  Click on the video link:
