No Surprise Why UW Lost After Reading This
Bo Ryan has been to the Sweet 16 four times with the Badgers.
Three times, it hasn't been so sweet...with the season ending at this level.
Why this time? Well, one of the best FT shooting teams in the nation missed 6.
They average about 7 turnovers a game, and had 7 in the first half.
And going more than 11 minutes without a FG? Can't win many games that way either.
At one point, that drought had the Badgers shooting a worse percentage than against Penn State, when they scored 33 points. In fact, Wisconsin only made 3 second half FG's until under 3 minutes to play.
Butler's Khyle Marshall said he didn't think UW's bigs were physical, and Coach Brad Stevens said to take it to the Badgers. Mission accomplished.
