Packers Ryan Grant on NFL Labor Issues
Running Back Will Start Next Year

In a normal year, Ryan Grant would be in Green Bay next week, working out and getting ready for the 2011 season.
As NFL Labor talks grind to a halt...he'll work out with his personal trainer in New York City, do more workouts with other NFL players in Florida...and stay optimistic that only practices, and not games, will be missed.
Grant was in Milwaukee to support the National Alliance for Mental Illness. He'll be the guest celebrity at the NAMI walk on Saturday, May 21st.
In the meantime, Grant assures me that Mike McCarthy told him he will be the starter next year, whenever the season starts. And that while he wouldn't practice right now anyway, he should be ready for training camp after ankle surgery.
