Packers Charles Woodson on the NFL Labor Talks
Cornerback Sees Rays of Hope

Charles Woodson has been a union rep, so he knows a thing or two about the collective bargaining agreement.
So in a recent one on one interview, I asked the Packers cornerback his thoughts about this week's extension.
His quote?
"I'm optimistic. I believe the extension, it just tells you that there's dialogue. And there will be continued dialogue. And what it tells me, is that there's some issues that they're talking about that they are making progress with."
Charles adds, "Hopefully by the end of the week, maybe you can finalize it. Or maybe you can have another extension to get those things left on the table and get those done."
I've contended all along that the NFL could miss a few things the average fan doesn't see....mini-camps, offseason workouts, and such. But I've never believed they'll miss actual games or meaningful items.
I hope Charles and I are right.
