Greetings From The Big D!
Or Is it Arlington, Texas?
So we hit the ground running...about an hour after our plane landed in the Big D, we raced over to the new Cowboys Stadium and watched workers put up a larger than life mural of Clay Matthews.
The other bizarre thing...we parked our satellite truck in a parking lot across the street. A Walmart parking lot. That's right, America's favorite bargain store set up shop right across from the World's first Billion dollar stadium.
But I quickly learned that the locals want you to know, where the stadium is located.
After the first live shot of the day, a very nice woman came up to me and asked what I said for my location.
I said Arlington.
Her reply? That's right. because Dallas didn't want it and didn't want to pay for it!
Tomorrow watch for my reports as I catch up with Racine native Caron Butler of the Dallas Mavericks, former Super Bowl Packer Brian Williams and former Pro Bowl guard Marco Rivera!
