After one day, it's good to see Mike McCarthy realized he had a problem and a potential problem on his hands. And he solved it. Unlike some coaches that would say the rules are the rules, or would be inflexible when the schedule was set...it appears the Packers have adjusted their schedule to include the injured players in the Super Bowl team photo on Friday. A team spokesperson says the schedule wasn't set to originally take the photo on Tuesday, when the 16 IR players wouldn't have been there. No matter, at least the Head Coach listened to his players and leaders on this one. After all. last year the Saints had 16 IR players...and 13 made the photo. As I stated yesterday, it's only right for players who contributed to be in the picture. Of the 3 New Orleans players who didn't make last year's photo, 2 got hurt in training camp.
