He Showed Me Around Town In Summer of 2006
After Mike McCarthy got the Packers job, he showed me around his old Greenfield neighborhood in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2006. I'll still always remember Mike's Mom, making us cold cut sandwiches for lunch, while Mike, his Dad Joe, photographer Greg Best and I ate at the kitchen table in his parents house....the house he grew up in. We even have video of Mike hitting the 3, at his old Bishop Boyle High School! Of course growing up, Mike was a huge Steelers fan...but now he says, they are his second favorite team.
