Things Heard 'Round the Packers Locker Room
Charles Woodson Has Words for the President
I think my favorite quote from the Packers postgame comes from Charles Woodson.
"If Obama isn't going to come see us, I guess we'll have to go see him." Meaning if the President won't attend the Super Bowl because his beloved Bears won't be in Dallas, the Packers will go visit him at the White House...after a Super Bowl 45 victory!
Other gems after the game...GM Ted Thompson unexpectedly joining us live on the air, saying he wants a different hat to wear in 2 weeks....as he sported an NFC Championship lid. A rare moment where the Packers GM let his guard down.
Jordy Nelson yelling out an emphatic "We're going to Dallas" on live TV, living out a childhood dream.
And Ryan Pickett telling us how satisfying this win was with so many injuries...making the Super Bowl for the first time since he lost with St. Louis as a rookie.
