Thanks to the Giants collapse, and the Bucs finally becoming who we thought they were, the Packers now control their own playoff destiny. Win two home games, and they're in.
But unless improvements are made, if they make it...they'll be one and done just like last year.
Matt Flynn did well for 59 minutes. The Packers didn't overload him....ran a pretty controlled, conservative offensive gameplan. But boy, was that last minute ugly.
Rookie Bryan Bulaga giving up a sack on a blitz. The Packers using their last timeout, but again not using them wisely earlier to have one late to ease their young QB's mind. And then Flynn taking 19 seconds to hear and call the play, only to get sacked again.
Even with Rodgers, the Packers need to shore up the line breakdowns at the worst times late...and need better timeout and clock management late. The teams that make noise in the postseason do it. The Packers need to learn their lessons quickly.
