This guy was a low-key, unheralded third-string quarterback before the 2009 season.
He's a symbol for the team...lightly recruited, far from a blue chipper...yet now he's college football's Golden Arm quarterback.
I will guarantee you would have been able to pave your driveway in gold if you could have gotten odds and bet on Scott Tolzien winning the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award at the beginning of the year as college football's best senior QB.
But here he is now...completing nearly 75% of his passes, and adding his name to surprising QB's Darrell Bevell, Mike Samuel and Brooks Bollinger in leading the Badgers to Pasadena.
And mark my words...against a TCU defense that I think isn't as strong as the stats try to show (#1 in total defense), a clean, solid and accurate game by Tolzien brings the Rose Bowl trophy back to Madison for a 4th time. Mark my words.
