News From GM Doug Melvin
Sorry, in my haste I forgot to post this last night. But on Thursday, I talked with Brewers GM Doug Melvin by phone from Phoenix, where he's undergoing organizational meetings and watching young prospects.
Melvin says he's interview four candidates so far, and should have the new manager in place in 3 weeks. Two weeks if all goes well.
Doug won't comment on specific candidates, but he will interview more people once he gets back to Milwaukee on Sunday.
