I don't know how many of you saw it, but at the PGA Wyndham Championship, Scott McCarron had a 50-foot birdie putt that stopped on the edge of the cup.
For exactly 16 seconds.
And then as he approached the ball, it went in.
And in my sick mind, all I could think about was....just like Danny Noonan in Caddyshack, well, maybe minus the explosions.
So here we go. A mix of McCarron and Noonan...our ode to life imitating art on the PGA tour.
And in case you're wondering about the rules, you have to approach your ball in a normal manner, which McCarron did...and then the ball has to drop within 10 seconds of being near it. I counted 5. And the PGA counted it. A legal birdie!
