A quick shout out to a worthy effort. The Neighborhood Peace Summit sponsored by the Atonement Lutheran Church and School in Milwaukee will be back this year. It will take place Saturday May 1st, and will bring people together for free lunch, entertainment, and community presentations. Those attending will get a information on everything from safety to health screenings, to financial services and employment. It's an excellent way to instill pride in the neighborhood, and keep people connected. The Neighborhood Peace Summit takes place at the Atonement Lutheran School gymnasium at 4224 W. Ruby Avenue from 10:00 am till 1:30 pm. It's a wonderful way to keep Milwaukee great. I will have more in an upcoming Positively Milwaukee. For more information call Atonement Lutheran Church at 414-871-1224.
