An Inspirational Return
One positive story that we can all cheer about is the return of Jenny Crain.
The former marathon runner, who had Olympic dreams, is still recovering after a car accident almost killed her.
For the past three years Crain has undergone physical therapy after being hit by a car while running near downtown Milwaukee.
Jenny, who can now take a few steps, participated in her first race this weekend. Jenny was in the Cudahy Classic riding in a stroller the team calls Big Red.
It was heartwarming to see Crain in a setting she knows all too well. It's amazing to see the progress she has made over the past few years.
It's also uplifting to witness the strong show of support for Crain. Crain has really captured our hearts. Watching Jenny Crain it's impossible not be inspired by her determination.
For those still fortunate enough to have their health, Jenny Crain's journey is a reminder that we should take nothing for granted.
Let's rejoice in the small gifts of life. Fate could put all of us in the same position at anytime.
