The foliage awash with color always makes me happy.
The sheer sight of splendid golden, orange and red hues are a feast for the eyes.
And seeing the fall kaleidoscope under the backdrop of a cool blue fall sky is pure amazement.
However, one not so positive thought, is the setting the clock back. Don't get me wrong, I love and need that extra hour of sleep. But the part that is painful is the early darkness.
Now, we all have to hurry up and enjoy the daylight hours. After all, it won't be long before it will look like the dead of night outside. In the fall, I always want to get up earlier, otherwise, I will miss the daylight, and the sunshine if there happens to be any.
And as November settles in, I know I'd better get out my digital camera to take pictures of any trees with signs of vibrancy. After all, it won't be long before the canvass of fall will be gone with the wind.
