Not So Positive Parenting
Now there are reports that Richard Heene, the father of the now infamous balloon boy case, was shopping his ideas around hoping to get his family a reality TV show.
So far, we cannot confirm this is all a hoax, but it sure seems weird. It's also strange that the parents put the lives of their three young boys on the line to be storm chasers.
Denver Channel.Com reports his former business partner quit because he felt uncomfortable over the fact the family was using their kids.
Of course, everyone is innocent till proven guilty, but let's hope the release of that flying saucer balloon was not a hoax. It would be awful if the father or mother were so starved for attention they'd do anything to get in the limelight.
Whether it's for money, publicity or both, it's pathetic. And if this entire ordeal turns out to be fake, the biggest victims will be the children.
