Angels on Earth
I always love stories about people sharing their talents with perfect strangers. Many are moved to create something that will help others feel better.
Such is the case of a group of lovely ladies called the Quilting Angels. They meet at the New Berlin Library once a month to make quilts for various charities. From children, to veterans, to women's shelters, the group has given out more than 3,500 quilts in the past 12 years.
The best part about the ladies, is the joy they get from giving. But there is a poignant story of how the Quilting Angels began.
You will find out January 23rd on Live at 5 in "Positively Milwaukee".
