From drug dealing to children playing
Imagine a park that was once the sight of drinking and drug dealing replaced with the sounds of kids playing. That's just part of the transformation that has taken place at 29th and Melvina.
It's one of 4 central city neighborhoods that has gotten a facelift. It's the result of volunteers and several local agencies working together. Those agencies include Rock the Lakes, Safe and Sound, Tri-Angle Neighborhood Association, and Northwest Side Community Development Corporation.
