One of may favorite morning hobbies comes after I workout and finish the paper. I relax with a cup of coffee work on solving the Jumble Puzzle in the Cue section of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
For some reason, I love starting my day feeling like I have solved a problem. Smiles.
Well this morning, after figuring out all the words, all I had left was to do the puzzle. And to my dismay, there was a bulletin on the cartoon that said, "Attention Jumble Readers we regret to inform you that we will no longer be running the Jumble puzzle."
I was devastated!
My daily ritual was about to come to a screeching halt.
How on earth would I get my morning Jumble fix?
I even started to feel sad, knowing I was solving my final puzzle.
I looked at the cartoon, and the caption, you can imagine my shock and joy when I solved the puzzle. The answer was April Fools!
Pretty good. I had forgotten that it was April 1st.
But the best news, I can continue enjoying my morning puzzles without fear.
Whew!!! Crisis averted.
