  • Snow is Done...Now Cold

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for flurries and occasional light snow showers with minor accumulation after 2-3" of snow fell across the area during the morning commute.

  • Mild Day...Winter Tomorrow

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for mild conditions with highs near 40 and a light southerly breeze. After a sunny start, clouds have returned thanks to a cold front moving through the state. It will bring drizzle and a few light rain showers this evening and as temperatures drop to near freezing, there could be some freezing drizzle after midnight and even a dusting of snow by the morning commute.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha, and SE Wisconsin is for mostly cloudy conditions, a few light snow showers and flurries (no accumulation) and a brisk wind that keeps wind chills in the single digits while highs get into the lower 20s.

Temperatures will be dropping into the 20s and the wind increase to 30 mph with wind chills in the single digits and blowing snow.

  • Weird Weather

    The lake breeze developed today in Milwaukee..in January. Now that is rare. Temperature (52) has to be at least 10 degrees above water temp (41 degrees) with a light breeze...less than 10 miles per hour. Crazy!!

  • April in January...Snow Tomorrow

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for April weather in January with highs in the lower 50s, sunshine and a light breeze. The cold front is already in Western Wisconsin and will cool Milwaukee into the upper 20s overnight with light snow developing well after midnight...just a dusting by the morning commute.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, a light southerly breeze and warm with temperatures in the lower 50s. The record for Milwaukee is 52 today back in 1975. It is as good as it gets for January!

  • Snowless in Milwaukee

    I found an article last week that I wrote last January…déjà vue. At that time, Milwaukee only had 9” of snow; about 10” below normal. Snow lovers were frustrated. Sound familiar? And it’s worse this year with only 1.7” of snow.

  • Near Record Warmth

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a near record day with highs near 50. The record in Milwaukee is 52 from 2008. A weak cold front has pushed through the area and the cooler air is lagging behind a bit and will be here by this evening but lows tonight will only drop to 30.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, a light breeze and low to mid 40s...a perfect day for January in Wisconsin. The normal high for today is 29...the record is 53 from 2007.

  • Warming Up

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for warmer temperatures with highs in the mid 30s and wind chills in the 20s with a NW wind at 10-15 mph and hazy sunshine. It was actually colder in north central Florida this morning than in Milwaukee. Jacksonville was a record 22 and Orlando was 24..the same as Milwaukee. Ft Myers was 32 this morning, but Florida will be in the 70s by the weekend.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, less wind and cold temperatures as highs remain in the 20s and wind chills in the teens and single digits..false advertising.

  • Getting Warmer This week

    Yesterday with a high of 26, was the coldest day since February 26 when we were 24 degrees…nearly a year. Wind chills were in the single digits all day and lows Tuesday morning will be in the single digits with wind chills below zero. The sun will be out and the wind much lighter, but it remains chilly with highs in the low to mid 20s. The wind shifts to the SW and clouds increase late in the day with a warm front that will keep lows Tuesday night near 20 and begin the warm up for the rest of the week.

  • Mild Saturday...Blustery Sunday

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the rain/snow mix to move out this evening and the sky to gradually clear with lows in the 20s and some patchy fog.

  • Round 2 of Freezing Rain and Snow

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for another round of freezing rain, snow and sleet tonight after 2am. Less than an inch of snow is expected around Milwaukee and 1-2" to the north and northwest of the city. Along with that, freezing rain is a threat again like Thursday morning....it doesn't take much ice to turn roads into an ice skating rink. Lows will drop to near 32 overnight with a light breeze.

  • 2 Rounds of Rain and Snow

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a light wintry mix of snow and freezing rain to move in after midnight. Less than an inch of snow is expected north of Milwaukee by Thursday morning. Temperatures will rise to near 32 by morning with a high of 42 by Thursday afternoon. The wintry mix will diminish before noon and then it will be cloudy and breezy the rest of the day.

  • Clearing & Colder

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clearing overnight and colder temperaturs with low sin the teens. The gusty wind will diminish to 5-10 mph overnight but wind chills will still be near 10 by morning.
