It should be a furious beast since most of the month was a summer paradise with an average monthly temperature of nearly 50 degrees…or 16 degrees above normal. We had a few cold days this past week with wind chills in the 20s on Monday and temperatures near freezing Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning, and we had inland patchy frost Thursday morning that could have zapped a lot of trees, shrubs and flowers as they are budding. We will have to watch this very carefully the next few weeks as we can see frost into May.
