  • Loving this weather

Have I said how much I love this weather. I love fall and wearing sweatshirts and shorts in the evening and having the windows open.

  • Rode Bus This Morning

Ali asked to ride the school bus this morning when she woke up. I said; I thought it was lame. Not always dad and Alex promised to sit with me this morning.

  • Awesome Weather Pattern

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin for Wednesday is more comfortable and sunny weather with highs near 70 and a NE wind at 10-20 mph. It won’t be as cold tonight with lows near 50 away from the lake and upper 50s along the water under a clear sky.

  • Milestones

Big news at the Gotter house this weekend.

  • It's Lame Dad

Ali loved riding the bus last year, but this morning she asked to be driven to school. "The bus is so lame in the morning daddy."

  • Lambeau Preparations

Thursday nights game just might be the biggest event ever in Green is like a mini Super Bowl with all the events and concerts. Because of that and being in the National spotlight, the Packers are pulling out all the stops and it is going to be so much fun inside Lambeau for the pregame festivities and the game.

  • #1 Again

How about them Sooners...still #1 and that makes it the 99th time they have been #1 since the poll started in 1936....the most for any school. Boomer Sooner!

  • Sunny & Refreshing

After a chilly start with lows in the 30s and 40s away from the water this morning, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, cool and dry air with a cool NE breeze. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s today and lows will drop back into the 40s and lower 50s tonight with patchy fog and a light breeze.

  • Fall Has Arrived

Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer and the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for fall-like weather for tonight and tomorrow. It was 90 and steamy on Friday, but highs on Monday were in the upper 50s and lower 60s with a brisk NE wind.

  • Labor Day Weather

Happy Labor Day everyone…it’s the unofficial end of summer, and the weather always seems to cooperate with our first real taste of fall.

  • Storms, then Fall

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin for Friday is hot & Humid with highs near 90 from Milwaukee and to the south, while areas north may remain below 80 today due to clouds and heavy rain this morning. Severe storms are unlikely to the north for the remainder of the day, but downpours are likely. From Milwaukee and Waukesha and points to the south, even though it is cloudy, we have missed the early storms and our atmosphere remains unsettled and storms are likely later this afternoon and evening and we are under a slight risk for severe storms with large hail and damaging winds as a cold front moves through. Heavy rain will also be likely this evening and overnight with lows near 70.

  • First Day of First Grade

The first morning of school was flawless this morning.

  • Sports Day

Brewers, Badgers & Packers all in one day!

  • Fall Weather Right on Schedule

As of yesterday, meteorological summer is over and we are now in fall, but it sure does not feel like it yesterday or today.

  • Heat & Humidity

It’s the first day of Meteorological Fall and the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for summer heat and humidity! Highs today will be in the low to mid 80s near the lake and in the lower 90s west of Waukesha with hazy sunshine.

  • First Day of School

I can't believe my little girl starts 1st grade tomorrow. She has been so excited for school to start for weeks and she can't wait to get on the bus again with friends.

  • More Bad Luck

Just when I thought the bad luck streak was over, I dropped my iPhone on the carpeted floor of the weather center and the glass shattered. I have dropped that thing in the parking lot, in my garage, at stadiums and it just took the beating, but the carpet in the weather center was its demise.

  • Jump Around

We just did our first Badgers football forecast for the season and we Jumped Around...I am out of breath. I got out of Jump Around

  • Summer Returns

After clouds and sprinkles this morning, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin for Wednesday is for hazy sunshine, highs near 80 (cooler at the lake) and increasing humidity. The roof will be open tonight at Miller Park and that’s a good thing since it will be in the 70s and muggy with no breeze.

  • Finally, someone gets it!

I have never met this gentleman but I want to buy him dinner and say thanks. Finally some respect and understanding what meteorologists do for a living. It is impossible to be accurate all the time when you are predicting the future of the most complex part of Earth..the atmosphere.
