  • Over the Hill

    I have had many milestones in my life, but today is a big one....I am 40. I woke and saw the light and started to run the other way....hahaha I may be old but I still have some speed left in these sore knees.

  • Blamed Again

    A recent study just released indicates married women drink more than single women. It's not because they are unhappy, but because of their husband's drinking habits and he spends more time at home instead of being out with buddies. Once again, it is our fault..oh well....hahaha

  • I have heard you and I am back

    I have taken some time off from blogging because I thought everyone was sick of hearing about my life adventures....I was wrong. I have heard you and I will start back up. My apologies for the lapse and I will catch you up on what you have missed. Call your therapists...I'm Back!

  • Heat Warnings

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for more heat and humidity today and the rest of the week with a Heat Advisory for lakefront counties and Excessive Heat Warnings for areas west of Waukesha though Friday. After some morning clouds and rain showers kept temperatures down, the sun is out and temperatures are warming up rapidly and highs will be in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon with heat indices over 100 and a light southerly breeze.

  • Fire Cracker Heat

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for hot and humid conditions all week and only a few scattered showers. A heat advisory is in effect for areas away from the lake today through Friday and for all of SE Wisconsin on Tuesday. Highs today will be in the 80s along the lake and 90s inland and very humid with scattered storms developing this afternoon.

  • Cool Today....Hot by Wednesday

    A cold front moved through the area Sunday afternoon so the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a sunny and comfortable day with highs in the 60s and 70s and a gusty NE wind up to 20 mph. It will be another great night of sleeping with lows in the 40s and 50s and Tuesday is the pick day of the week with sunshine, a light SE breeze and highs in the 70s and 80s...cooler at the lake.

  • Some Needed Rain, Then Dry Week

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for highs in the 80s today with more humidity and scattered showers and t'storms throughout the morning and afternoon. It won't rain all day, but keep an umbrella close by into the early evening when the cold front finally passes through the area and gradually clears out the clouds. You can turn off the AC tonight with less humidity and lows in the 50s.

  • Pick Day Today...Very Warm Weekend

    Today was the Pick Day of the Week and the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, low humidity and light SE breeze and highs in the 70s to near 80. The light SE breeze this afternoon will cool the lakefront down into the 60s, but it will be a great evening across the area.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the perfect weather to continue for the rest of the week with sunshine, low humidity, a light breeze and highs near 60 along the lake and mid 70s inland thanks to a large area of high pressure over us.

  • Cool Friday...Warm Weekend

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for another mostly cloudy, breezy and cool day but expect more sunshine later in the afternoon and highs near 60. There is a very slight chance of an afternoon pop up shower.

  • Brrr.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the return of fall with highs today only in the upper 40s to lower 50s...that's typical for early November. It is breezy and cloudy as well with a few showers, but the best chance of rain will remain south of Milwaukee and Waukesha today and tonight. Lows tonight will drop into the upper 40s along the lake and lowers 40s inland.

  • Chilly & Damp Next Few Days

    After a warm start to the week, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a return of fall with clouds, scattered rain showers and highs in the 50s...typical for late October and early November. There are more clouds today, but no rain is in the forecast with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Scattered showers develop after midnight tonight, especially for areas south of Milwaukee and lows will be in the 40s.

  • November Cold Rain

    After a windy and warm day with highs in the 70s and gusts over 30mph on Tuesday, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the winds to diminish tonight with lows near 50 and cooler weather for the rest of the week with highs in the upper 50s along the lake and lower 60s inland with a NNE wind at only 10-15 mph and a few clouds for Wednesday. Clouds increase Wednesday night with lows in the mid 40s and a slight chance for rain showers well after midnight. Thursday and Friday will look and feel like early November with highs in the lower 50s, a NE wind, clouds and rain showers all thanks to a very slow moving low pressure system. It could be worse; Thursday is the anniversary of the latest trace of snow in Milwaukee back in 1889. The next few days will have a cold rain, but it won’t be snow.

  • Stormy Evening..Cooler & Less Humid Week

    The heat was on today with a high of 90 for Milwaukee…missing the record high for Memorial Day by just 1 degree from 1994. Last year was a warm and humid Memorial Day as well with a high of 88.

  • Hazy, Windy, Warm & Late Storms

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for gusty winds, very warm temperatures and rising humidity. Highs will be in the upper 70s along the lake to near 90 west of Waukesha. SSE winds will be gusting up to 40mph this afternoon and a Wind Advisory is in effect for most of SE Wisconsin from 2pm until 8pm this afternoon. Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Sheboygan counties are not included in advisory, but winds will still be over 30 mph....the stronger gusts will be inland.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the best day of the week today with sunshine, a light SE breeze and highs near 70 along the lake and near 80 inland with low humidity. Enjoy!!

  • Cooler, but Comfortable

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a comfortable week of weather after the cold front brought the cooler and drier air last night. Today will be sunny, but NE winds gusting over 20 mph will keep the lakefront near 60 and inland areas around 70.

  • Quiet Tornado Season so Far

    Severe weather season has been very quiet so far but June is getting closer and that is the peak month for tornadoes in the Badger state. As of Friday, there have been no tornadoes in the state and according to the National Weather Service in Sullivan, if we make it through May with no tornadoes that would be 5 straight tornado-free months. The last time that happened was back in 1993. The other years include 1990, 1986, 1983, and 1963.

  • Summer Weekend

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a warm stretch of weather through the weekend. Today will be sunny and in the low to mid 70s near the lake and lower 80s inland with a SE Wind at 10-15mph and low humidity. This evening will be beautiful for anything outside...especially a Brewer's game with the roof open! Lows by morning will be in the mid 50s.
