The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for mostly sunny conditions and highs near 40. It will feel cooler than that as winds gust to 20 mph out of the west. A cold front is currently in the northern half of the state and will bring colder temperatures and a brisk wind for Tuesday...along with a few flurries and light lakefront snow showers.
The flurries develop overnight with lows in the upper 20s with wind chills in the teens. Highs on Tuesday will get into the mid 30s along the lake and upper 20s inland with NE winds gusting to 30 mph all day. That wind will keep us cloudy all day with flurries and occasional light snow showers. The only accumulation will be along the lake with a half inch to an inch of accumulation in isolated spots. Most of the area sees no accumulation.
The sun returns on Wednesday with highs near freezing and Thursday will be sunny with highs near 40 thanks to a SW wind before another cold front arrives Thursday night.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny, windy and cold with highs in the mid 20s..below normal for the first time in weeks.
