  • Print

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for April weather in January with highs in the lower 50s, sunshine and a light breeze.  The cold front is already in Western Wisconsin and will cool Milwaukee into the upper 20s overnight with light snow developing well after midnight...just a dusting by the morning commute.

The snow continues throughout the day with 2-4" of accumulation and temperatures dropping into the lower 20s and winds gusting to near 30 mph creating blowing and drifting snow.  The evening commute will be messy and slow.

The snow continues Thursday night with an additional 1-3" of accumulation and very windy conditions as gusts approach 35 mph creating low visibilities.  Lows will be in the teens and wind chills slightly below zero.

Light snow continues Friday morning with less than an inch of accumulation for totals of around 4-7" in most areas by midday Friday.  Highs will be in the lower 20s and winds will be gusty, putting wind chills near 0.

Another weak storm system moves in Saturday for some very light snow and highs in the lower 20s.  The sunshine returns on Sunday with a light breeze and highs in the upper 20s.
