Mild Saturday...Blustery Sunday
The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the rain/snow mix to move out this evening and the sky to gradually clear with lows in the 20s and some patchy fog.
Saturday will be partly cloudy, breezy and mild with highs in the lower 40s, but it will feel cooler thanks to the breeze.
A powerful cold front moves into SE Wisconsin Saturday evening and will shift the winds to the west and northwest at 20-30 mph and lows near freezing. There will be a light rain/snow mix in the late evening and changing to light snow after midnight with less than 1" of accumulation by Sunday morning.
There is a chance for scattered light snow showers and flurries throughout the day on Sunday with a dusting of accumulation and it will be very windy with a NW wind at 25-45 mph. The high temperature will be early in the morning with temperatures falling throughout the day and wind chills near 10.
Monday and Tuesday will be cold with highs in the 20s despite sunshine. Lows will be in the teens and single digits. However, this winter has been very easy so far and another warm up starts on Wednesday with highs in the lower 30s and near 40 for Thursday and Friday. Still no big winter storm for at least the next 7 days.
