The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and Milwaukee is for mostly cloudy and damp conditions with highs near 40 and a light breeze.
A storm system to our south is the reason for the clouds and the possibility of drizzle and light rain this evening, and even some freezing drizzle over the entire area after midnight with lows near freezing along the lake and 20s inland.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy in the morning before clearing in the afternoon with highs in the lower 40s and a light breeze.
Thursday will have increasing clouds with highs in the upper 30s and a light breeze but flurries and very light snow is possible Thursday night with a dusting of accumulation for Friday morning travelers. Friday will be sunny with highs in the mid 30s.
Christmas Eve will be sunny with highs in the upper 30s before a cold front arrives and drops highs to 32 on Christmas Day.
There are no major storms this week and no cold snaps for travelers, but that also means no White Christmas.
