Dreary & Mild Day
The forecast or Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds, fog, scattered showers and highs near 50. There is a break in the rain showers this afternoon after a rainy morning with more than a half inch of rain (would have been 4-6" of snow so far), but more rain showers move in later this afternoon and evening as temperatures slowly drop to the lower 40s overnight.
There will be a few lingering showers in the morning, and even a few flurries north of Milwaukee with highs in the lower 40s before noon. The cold front then shifts the wind to the NW and it gusts up to 30 mph as temperatures drop into the lower 30s..wind chills in the teens. There will be some sunshine in the afternoon as well as the storm system moves east.
Thursday night will be clear and cold with lows in the 20s and wind chills in the teens.
Friday will be sunny and seasonal with highs in the lower 30s and a light breeze thanks to high pressure.
Clouds return Saturday afternoon with a few flurries and highs in the mid 30s. Sunday will be sunny and warmer with highs in the 40s.
We are tracking another storm for Monday and Tuesday, but it looks to be staying further south right now with just a chance of light rain and possibly mixing with light snow Monday night into Tuesday....we will track it through the weekend but right now does not look to be an issue.
