Finally, the Sun!
The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha, and SE Wisconsin is for light winds, lots of sunshine (finally) and highs in the lower 40s…a great way to end a month that was 4 degrees above normal.
Lows tonight will be warmer than last night with temperatures in upper 20s to 30 degrees compared to this morning with lows in the teens and lower 20s.
Tomorrow is the start of December and Meteorological Winter but it will be sunny and mild with highs in the mid 40s and a light westerly breeze. Clouds increase in the afternoon in advance of a cold front that will being rain showers well west of Milwaukee in the afternoon. Those showers get here Thursday evening and night as scattered light snow showers. Less than a half inch of accumulation is expected but could make for a slippery commute Friday morning. Behind the front, highs will only be in the mid 30s on Friday, but it will be sunny.
Saturday will be back in the lower 40s with rain showers during the day that will change to a rain/snow mix Saturday evening and night and into Sunday. As of now, this is not a big snowfall, but you may need the shovel to clear the sidewalk.
Behinds that front it gets even colder to start next week with highs in the upper 20s to near 30…at least it will be sunny. December has arrived..get ready for anything weatherwise.
