Brian Gotter: Welcome Back, Gotter

Cold Day, Warming Up

  • Print

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the coldest day of the season so far with highs only in the 30s and a brisk wind dropping wind chills into the teens and near…at least it is sunny.

Lows tonight drop back into the 20s after midnight and then slowly start to rise into the 30s by morning thanks to a light SW wind.  That SW wind cranks up to 20-40 mph during the day on Friday and that will warm Milwaukee to 50 degrees with sunshine.

Clouds increase Friday night with lows in the 30s and Saturday will be cloudy, breezy and mild with highs near 50 and scattered showers throughout the day.  A cold front sweeps through the area Saturday night and Sunday will be sunny, breezy and colder with highs in the lower 40s.

Next week will be sunny and quiet for holiday travelers with highs in the 40s and no major storms through Friday!
