Pick Day! Then Rainy

  • Print

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for pick day of the week weather today followed by a lot of rain the next few days.  Today will be mostly sunny and mild with highs in the upper 50s and a light breeze.

However, a powerful storm system is moving into the Midwest late tonight and rain is likely by early Tuesday morning until Wednesday afternoon.  The rain will be heavy at times with rain totals between 2-3” likely across SE Wisconsin.  Isolated higher amounts will be possible.  If this was snow, it would have been 2-3 feet.

Highs will be near 50 on Tuesday and upper 40s on Wednesday with gusty NW winds up to 30 mph dropping the temperature to near 40 Wednesday afternoon.

The sun is out the rest of the week, but it will be cold with highs struggling to get to 40 on Thursday and upper 40s on Friday.  The weekend looks great right now with sun and highs in the 50s.
