Rainy, Windy, Cold
The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha, and SE Wisconsin is for clouds, rain, chilly air and lots of wind the next few days.
A low pressure system is intensifying over Ohio and that means very strong NE winds and scattered showers starting tonight through Thursday for SE Wisconsin. Showers will develop overnight with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s..a cold rain…and winds increase to 15-25 mph after one day of lighter winds.
A High Wind Watch is in effect for later Wednesday through Thursday for winds gusting over 40 mph, especially along the lakefront…inland areas will be windy, but not as strong as the lakefront.
Showers are likely Wednesday through Thursday with the heaviest rain near the lakefront and highs struggling to hit 50. The next few days will be nasty, but it could be worse. If 6 weeks from now, this storm would produce A LOT of lake effect snow for Milwaukee.
The wind and rain leave by Friday with highs in the lower 50s and the weekend looks seasonal with highs in the upper 50s and sunshine.
