Showers Tonight, Return to Fall

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a cold front to pass through the area tonight with clouds and scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder are also possible.  Lows will drop into the low to mid 50s with a light SW breeze.

Wednesday will be windy once again as westerly winds gust up to 25 mph and highs get into the mid to upper 60s inland and near 70 along the lakefront with afternoon clouds and a very slight chance of a pop up shower.

Wednesday night will be cloudy and cool with lows near 50 along the water and mid 40s west of Waukesha.

Thursday and Friday will look and feel like fall with clouds, a chilly breeze and highs in the 50s.

There is a slight chance of pop up afternoon showers Friday through Sunday with highs this weekend in the low to mid 60s.

The sun returns early next week with highs near 70.

        Wind:   SW 5-15 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy and windy with an isolated pop up afternoon shower
        High:   68 Lakefront...64 west of Waukesha.
        Wind:  W 15-20 gusting to 25 mph.

WED NIGHT:    Mostly cloudy and cool.
        Lows:  50 lakefront... 44 Waukesha & inland.
        Wind:  WNW 5-15 mph.

THURSDAY:  Mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler.
        High:  57 Lakefront...53 Waukesha.
        Wind: WNW 10-15 mph.
