After a chilly start with lows in the 30s and 40s away from the water this morning, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, cool and dry air with a cool NE breeze. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s today and lows will drop back into the 40s and lower 50s tonight with patchy fog and a light breeze.
High pressure will control our weather for the rest of the week so expect a lot of sunshine and highs warming back into the lower 70s. The NE wind will increase to 10-20 mph on Thursday as the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee move into the Ohio Valley. There is a chance for scattered showers moving into Milwaukee from Lee on Friday afternoon, but most of us remain dry. That chance of showers lingers into Saturday morning, otherwise the weekend looks mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the mid 70s.
A cold front will bring showers on Monday and highs will be in the 60s by Tuesday.
