More Clouds & Showers
The past two days have been very wet and stormy and the huge low pressure system responsible for the mess continues to affect Milwaukee’s weather for the next few days. The severe weather threat is over, but showers and scattered downpours are still likely today, tonight and tomorrow as the low slowly moves east. Highs today will be in the 70s and it will some sunshine and humidity.
Parts of Milwaukee have received 2-4” of rain since Monday with TMJ4 receiving 3.6” (that is the monthly average for all of June) and Brookfield has had 4.3” The showers the next two days will drop less than a half inch across most of the area, but a few downpours could cause totals to reach an additional inch.
A few showers tonight with low sin the 50s and patchy dense fog. Thursday will be in the 60s with some sun, clouds and pop up showers just like today.
There is a chance for sprinkles Friday morning, but high pressure moves in by the afternoon and sunshine returns with highs in the 60s. High pressure sticks around for the weekend with sunshine, light wind and highs in the 70s!
