This week looks to be dreary and rainy in Milwaukee and this morning’s downpours are what we can expect off and on today, Tuesday and Tuesday night as a slow moving storms system brings t’storms and heavy rains into the area. Today’s TMJ4 picked up 1.5” of rain in about 90 minutes this morning and that created flooding in low lying areas in parts of Milwaukee. It will not rain all day, and not everyone will get wet, but these t’showers will drop a lot of rain in a short period of time as they travel slowly to the NE.
Highs today will be in the 60s along the lake with fog and mid 70s west of Waukesha with scattered T’storms. There is a slight risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening and once again on Tuesday and Tuesday night before the cold front arrives.
It will be humid the next few days and highs will be in the 80s tomorrow except along the lakefront. Lows will be in the mid 60s Tuesday night with humid conditions and storms.
The cold front passes on Wednesday with highs in the 70s, but Milwaukee remains cloudy with scattered showers through Thursday and even Friday has a slight chance of light rain with highs in the 60s both days.
It is a dreary week, but just in time for the weekend, the sun returns with highs in the 70s.
