So... my friends at work pulled a really good one on me Wednesday afternoon.  A surprise baby shower!!!  Good grief!!

Here's the thing... I never really expected a shower with my second child.  I know people have them, but.... ya know...

When Taylor and I had Ashley, we were blessed with so many nice baby gifts at my shower for her, and we still have most of them.  With the exception of boy's clothes, we still feel like we have just about everything we need.

Still this shower was cool... even though I almost ruined it!

The plan was to do a lunch hour shower in one of our conference rooms.  Courtny Gerrish and producer Stephanie Graham saw that I was on special assignment that day... and had nothing scheduled.  But when I came into work that morning, I set up a whole bunch of shoots, so poor Steph and Courtny had to push the shower back two hours!! 

And then... people waited in the conference room for me for nearly a half hour.  I was running around the building doing all kinds of nonsense. Finally one of our photograhers, Ira, had to trick me over to the party by asking me to help one of our interns out with something.

I was shocked when I walked in and found the surprise.

And it was wonderful... new clothes, gift cards, diapers and wipes... all for the new baby.

I was really moved... can't thank these guys enough.

And I feel really lucky to be working with people I really consider friends.
