There is a controller for an X-Box video game system that was delivered to the Storm Team Forecast Center.

There have been a lot of boxes delivered to the TODAY'S TMJ4 Storm Team Forecaster Center lately. The boys are getting a whole bunch of new computers to bring you super-cool HD weather graphics.

A glance at one of the boxes left me confused this morning. Buried along with a bunch of cables, computer component looking things, and cardboard, was a brand new Microsoft controller for an X-Box video game system. Possible reasons this could be:

1) The wrong thing got shipped in a box of computer stuff.

2) The controller is part of a larger system, some of the components of which we needed for this effort.

3) The new Storm Team graphics include a spaceship feature with laser guns and missiles.

4) The weather has been so darn perfect lately, John Malan decided to give the boys something to do by purchasing an X-Box so they could compete for high scores on their various shifts. Anything beats letting Koplien sleep all morning.

Seriously... I don't know why that's there.
