We have been doing a series of stories called 'On Deaf Ears'.    Here is a link to the story.

  The stories outline the fact that in Wisconsin insurance companies are not required to cover hearing aids or cochlear implants for deaf children.

  A bill that would mandate insurance coverage passed the state senate on a bi partisan voice vote.  The bill is stalled in the assembly insurance committee where Rep Frank Lasee of Depere refuses to hold a public hearing or give the bill an up or down vote.

   As part of our coverage we did a live interview with Amy Boehler and her son Dylan during our 4:40 newscast.  Dylan embarrassed his mom a little bit, but he was so cute.  Here is a link to the interview.  Watch Dylan about 3/4 of the way through the interview.
