As I have mentioned before, my daughter, Aimee, is a member of the Menomonee Falls High School Varsity Dance team.  The team is amazing.  These girls really get it done.  They are very talented.  And unlike so many high school girls, these young ladies are actually nice.  I know I'm a little biased, but they are the real deal.  And it all starts with leadership. They have an inspiring coach, Lora Waraksa.

   Aimee is only a Freshman, and the other girls have taken her under their wing.  Aimee has a lot to learn, but the older girls are kind, and patient, and just aggressive enough to push Aimee to get better.  When she needs a little kick in the pants, they give it to her.

   The dance team was on the Friday Football Frenzy here on Channel Four this past Friday.  Sportscaster David Marcus does a segment called The Marcus Circus.  And he decided to include the dance team.  It was pretty funny. 

   The segment is below, but let me give you the back story.  David Marcus and I are in a fantasy football league together.  As a matter of fact, Marcus is the commissioner of the league.  My investigative photographer, Ira, is also in the league.  There has been a lot of trash talking in the league between Marcus, Ira, me, and a couple of other guys.  Late last week, Marcus was having the best of it.  He was hammering me. 

   Well, Ira was shooting the Falls football game with Marcus last Friday and hatched a plan to get a little payback and to feature the Falls dance team all at the same time.  Ira talked Marcus into incorporating the dance team into his football coverage.  Unknown to Marcus, the young lady that would be doing all the talking is my daughter, Aimee.
