One of our buddies here at the station and one of the truly good guys just turned 40. Photojournalist/producer Paul Marble just hit the big 40! When you're an investigative reporter you come to really trust the guy on the other side of that camera. We make a lot of people very angry. And you never know exactly what kind of situation you might be walking into. There needs to be a special bond, a special trust. If you're ever going into war, Paulie Marble is a guy you want on your side.
Marble is married to one of our sports anchors, Jesse Garcia. I'm not sure how she's going to handle putting up with the aches and pains and bellyaching that come with turning 40. Good luck Jess!
One of our special projects producers, Stephanie Graham, pulled off quite a feat. She got all of the rest of us in the unit together at the same time and we were able to surprise Paulie with some cake and lots of wisecracks. It's rare that all of us are in the building at the same time. Especially this time of year.
I've attached some photos of our little get together.
